Heřman Bulder

Doctor and natural scientist Heřman Bulder was in the service of the Peter Wok von Rosenberg court in Český Krumlov as well as later on in Třeboň. He cared for the health of this the last Rosenberg sovereign and his closest courtiers. In contrast to the other doctors, he was not satisfied with merely a general management of basic medical methods but rather devoted all his life to the study of professional literature. His library in Třeboň gives a valuable insight into the depth and width of this Rosenberg doctor\'s intellectual interests. There one can find mathematic, medical, historical, political and religious books as well as philosophical, philological and poetical papers.
