Karel Leger

(1859 - 1934) Writer, dramatist, farmer in Kolín

He wrote a novel based on a fictional romantic theme from the life of Peter Wok von Rosenberg called "A Wild Five-petalled Rose" (1930). In this novel, Peter Wok finds his illegitimate daughter but does not know how to get close to her. The book ends tragically. The story takes place mostly at the Castle Rožmberk nad Vltavou.
