Jiří Mařánek

Jiří Mařánek wrote a book called "Rosenberg trilogy" that is one of the most popular and one of the most read books with Rosenberg subject-matter. In "Romance of Záviš" he created a portrait of Záviš of Falkenštejn. From the medieval ages of the times of the Rosenbergs, he created the novel "Petr Penitent". The whole trilogy ends with "A Barbarian Wok". This part of the trilogy described Peter Wok von Rosenberg with some historical inaccuracies. In Český Krumlov, he lived in the house Parkán No. 112 where he drawn the inspiration for his novels.
